On Tuesday, March 23, 2021 at approximately 2:30 p.m., one of the FHPD School Resources Officers (SRO) was made aware of a student, who reported that they had been touched inappropriately by an adult.
The FHPD, in conjunction with the Illinois Department of Children and Family Services (DCFS), began an investigation into the allegations.
At the conclusion of an extensive investigation, the St. Clair County State Attorney, James Gomric’s office reviewed the case for possible charges.
Today, Adam J. Strickland, 23 years of age, 1300 block of Marthel St, Collinsville, IL was charged with the following felonies:
- Predatory Criminal Sexual Assault (Class X)
- Aggravated Criminal Sexual Abuse (Class 2)
Strickland remains in custody with a $100,000 bond.
