We understand testing can be intimidating, which is why we now do our own individualized testing and hiring.

I was legitimately pulled over on 159. My mind had wandered and I wasn’t paying attention to my speed. The officer had just cause to issue me a ticket, but he gave me a break. I guess I looked like I needed one, as it’d been a rough few weeks and I needed a drive to clear my head. He was very polite, courteous and professional. A fine example to all other police officers.

The toung officer driving unit F-14, on the night of 10/30/18 @ around 7:30 pm… While he was in schnucks for a cold bottle of water, a family in line ahead of him was short on cash for groceries and had to put some back. He took it upon himself to purchase the groceries that they out back for them. That kind of kindness and service by our local city employees and police officers goes a long way to change the mindset of our local community and how we view our fellow men and women in blue. Way to go.
