Sealed bids will be received by the City Clerk of Fairview Heights, Municipal Complex, Front Desk, 10025 Bunkum Road, Fairview Heights, IL 62208 until 1:00 pm CST on November 30, 2017, and will be publicly opened at that time.

The City reserves the right to reject any and/or all bids, and may accept that which is most advantageous to the City of Fairview Heights. The successful bidder shall be an equal opportunity employer.

Bid Security in the amount of five percent (5%) of the bid as a Bid Bond or a Cashier’s check. Any bid submitted without a bid security will not be accepted.

The City hereby encourages (1) “minority” business firms to submit bids on the approved project and (2) successful contract bidders to utilize minority business as subcontractors for supplies, equipment, services and construction.

This project is being financed, in part, with funds from the Metro East Parks & Recreation District (MEPRD) grant program.

This contractor shall pay at a minimum the current Prevailing Wage rates listed for the county for which the work is being performed. Please contact IDOL at 217-782-1710 for wage rates or clarifications. All contractors must employ union tradesmen. Each Contractor and Subcontractor shall submit, on a monthly basis, a certified payroll to the Owner, evidencing the Contractor’s and Sub- contractor’s compliance with the Prevailing Wage Act.
