Description

The City of Fairview  Heights is accepting bids to provide all labor, equipment and material necessary to construct the project known as WEINEL  HILLS PHASE 2 ASPHALT OVERLAY PROJECT.  All bids shall be placed on the forms provided and returned in a sealed envelope with the name and address of the bidder and marked “WEINEL HILLS PHASE 2 ASPHALT OVERLAY PROJECT” on the front, addressed to the Public Works Committee, c/o City Clerk, 10025 Bunkum Road, Fairview Heights, IL 62208.  Any sealed envelope not marked as designated above will not be accepted as a bid.  All bids must be received prior to 2:00 P.M., Wednesday, February 22, 2017 and will be opened at that time.

The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids, and to waive any irregularities in the bidding procedure.

Bidding documents may be obtained at the office of the City Clerk, 10025 Bunkum Road, Fairview Heights, IL 62208 beginning on Monday February 6th, 2017 during the hours of 8:30 to 5:00.

Qualifications

All contractors interested in bidding this project MUST be prequalified with IDOT and will be required to submit a CERTIFICATE OF ELIGIBILITY prior to receiving bidding documents. The contractor awarded the project will be required to adhere to the PROJECT LABOR AGREEMENT between the City of Fairview Heights and the Southwestern Illinois Building & Construction Trades Council.

Special Requirements
